Connektica Solutions Inc. is based in Montreal and Toulouse, and designs and develops SaaS software solutions initially designed for the space manufacturing industries. Our solutions combine the digitisation of assembly procedures, the automation of various types of tests (e.g. radio frequency, environmental), data processing /analysis and automated reporting including quality assurance criteria verifications.
Our innovative applications significantly reduce even complex hardware development, production costs and lead times, while guaranteeing the highest levels of quality. Connektica already has customers in Quebec and Europe and is looking to expand its team to support its international growth.
ROLE
The DevOps will work closely with the Head of Engineering as well as our DevOps team based in France, and will participate in the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure infrastructures. They will also collaborate with the development teams to deliver the product and implement CI/CD pipelines and automation tests.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in the evolution of the current infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitHub Actions
- Deploy highly available, multi-user software components
- Work with developers to understand their needs and support them in setting up continuous integration and deployment pipelines
- Take charge of and evolve current monitoring tools to anticipate threat detection, bugs, or to increase performance
- Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data governance regulations
- Write and keep up-to-date documentation related to infrastructure, processes, and procedures
- Stay informed about emerging technologies in the fields of DevOps and cybersecurity.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Engineering degree or equivalent in the IT field
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer in a cloud environment
- English level B2
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Experience deploying highly available services on AWS or another public cloud provider
- Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure as code tools
- Experience with containerization tools (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (Github workflows), particularly for Python and/or Go applications
- Proficiency in Git workflows and the software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in Bash/Python scripting
- Practical knowledge of databases and SQL (PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of networking, Linux system administration, and cybersecurity
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2) or data residency issues (RGPD/GDPR).
