Connektica is a high-growth startup based in Montreal and Toulouse that designs and develops SaaS solutions for the aerospace and defense industry. Our mission is to help these businesses grow – without huge investments in factories, tooling, or manual labor.

The opportunity

Join our growing team as founding account executive and play a pivotal role in building our Go-To-Market engine.
This isn’t just another AE role. You will work directly with the founders and head of sales to build pipeline, close business, and lay the foundation for a repeatable sales process.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage your own book of business to meet sales targets: territory strategy, target accounts, outbound campaigns, and trade show follow-up.
  • Generate your own pipeline (e.g., outbound, tradeshows), in addition to marketing generated opportunities.
  • Execute a rigorous sales process: follow the company’s playbook. Track activity, pipeline, and forecast with precision.
  • Capture & share all relevant data. Our rate of learning is directly tied to our survival. We need you to share every week what you see in the market with the leadership team and the company (CRM: HubSpot).
  • Collaborate with the founding team and head of sales to design and test the first repeatable sales motions (e.g., sales process, playbook, assets).

 

What’s needed

  • Proven hunter: 3+ years closing experience in B2B SaaS or complex technology sales. You’ve built pipeline and carried quota, not just inherited it.
  • Process-Driven: You understand qualification frameworks (e.g., MEDDPICC or others) and live by them.
  • Curious & Technical: Able to quickly learn complex workflows and translate value for aerospace & defense executives, engineers, and operators.
  • Resilient Operator: You thrive in ambiguity, take ownership, and don’t wait for marketing to hand you leads.
  • Bilingual: Fluent in French and English (written & spoken).
  • Can travel 20% of the time.

 

Bonus points if you:

  • Experience in the aerospace & defense industry, manufacturing, or industrial tech.
  • Experience working with SMB customers.
